On Wednesday July 21, 2021 I noticed that my livingroom carpet was wet. Further investigation showed leaking from the baseboard... heating elements. At 430 a.m. I put in an emergency service call, uncertain if it was warrented as an emergency I felt water leaking justified the early morning call. At 6am Jerry Tornack our maintenance guy called and said he'd be in within an hour. He showed up, assessed the leak and got right to work... He helped moving the furniture, pulled the carpets back and had heaters and fans drying it out. My area rug was trashed, so I looked into my tennant insurance and realized the $500 deductible was more than I could afford. Unknowingly to me he advised the property manager Porsche of this. I recieved a call from Porsche first apologizing for the leak and asked if there was anything she could do ... Did I need air fresheners? I said probably would help as it was musty smelling. 30 minutes later she arrived with an air freshener for my apartment and my car as well as a bag of cat treats. Wow!! Was mighty impressed. She looked at the livingroom in disarray and said that she was aware that my area rug was ruined. She said she's in the process of obtaining a gift card so I could replace it. Two days later a $150 gift card was slid under my door. I just want to say that this emergency call was handled efficiency, professionally and above my expectations. Words can not describe how much peace living at Edgewood Estates in Leduc has given myself and my daughter. Everytime we... need something fixed in our apartment within 10 minutes it's getting fixed. Staff here is so friendly and the manager here is always willing to come to my door and help whenever I need. Tenants in the building are friendly and respectful and after a long day at work I have peace in my home. I have been living at Edgewood Estates for going on 4 years now and I love it. Mostly because of our amazing resident manager... Glory. Things are always done in a timely manor, concerns are addressed promptly and information on changes is provided clearly.
